[2018] In this corporate documentary of a road trip through Portugal focused on sustainability and electromobility produced for the Mercedes-Benz YouTube channel, the professional Surfer Marlon Lipke shares his philosophy on sustainability, while engaging in informational and activist events accompanying an influencer event hosted by Mercedes-Benz.
The goal of the event was to inform the participants of the event (and later the viewers of the video) about the new EQC, electromobility, and what measures Mercedes-Benz is taking as a brand to become more sustainable in the future.
Personal remarks:
Although I don’t think electrifying personal vehicles and keeping the whole transport infrastructure as is, should be called the future of mobility, it plays a part in the transformation towards a more sustainable future.
While the whole video could, to some extent, be described as greenwashing for Mercedes-Benz, it still was a good learning experience for me.
